Which release? 16.2, 16.1.1.1 or 16.1.5?

Hi all,

I was already confused about the two branch 16.1.1.1 and 16.2, it seems very similar (except for CBRS support), and now I saw there is a 16.1.5.

Which branch should we use? What are the differences between the three?

Thank you for any hints.

if you use legacy 430 SM's... then you'll want to stick with 16.0.1.X... if you don't use 430 SM's... then go with 16.2.

We don't have 430, and we are already at 16.1.1.1.
16.1.5 seems to have ipv6, so "some" features more than 16.2 (we dont' have CBRS).

At this point, our recommendation is to use 16.2, even without CBRS functionality.

There will be a 16.2.1, which will become the recommended (it will fix the upstream frame utlization display issue), but until that release, use 16.2.

R16.1.5 does have some additional minor software features, but all of these will be included in R20, which is scheduled for release in June.

Eric, small correction: If you use legacy 430 SMs then you'll want to stick with 16.0.1.1. (16.1 ended support for 430s.)

Minor feature? IPv6 support? I'm confused :)
