E501S in WiFi mode. Unable to bridge SM Force180

Hi Guys

I am trying Cambium as a one login package to view all the 5GHz backhaul and local 2.4/5GHz WiFi.

Router - Fiber - E501S - Force180 - R201P

Residentual and Guest VLANs.

Having an issue with the E501S in WiFi mode and not being able to bridge L2 using a Force180 SM.

A R201P is plugged into the Force180 for internal WiFi coverage.

I understand this will work ONLY in TDD mode? Why not in WiFi mode?

I understand I can purchase a EPMP1000 5GHz with an sector sector antenna as well as another EPMP1000 2.4GHz to get my outdoor Hotspot. This requires more cabling and another power supply.

This is the first hardware testing for many more of these to be rolled out.

Not wanting to go back to UBNT as a, one login solution.

Does anyone have any comments?

Cheers

The E501S does not support TDD mode, so yes WiFi mode would be the wayt o make this work. the E501S would need to be configured as a mesh-base, since the Force-180 will use 4-address WDS mode in this case.

You would also need to disable mesh-vlan-tagging on the E501S
