AP Eval on an SM produced a -65, but after associating the signal showed -80. We just put up our first 450m today, just something we thought strange. Thanks!
Curious to learn more about your expereince. First, what is the topology of the network, e.g., rolling hills, flat, sparce trees, etc.? How many SMs do you have attached to the 450m? If you replaced an existing 450 or 450i AP what was the immediate performance impact of 450m?
The 450m is performing much better after adjusting the downtilt. We are not seeing the large discrepancy between the AP Eval and the Registered signal any more.
