Accessing SM from the AP end using IP address

By default the SM will be in the “Local” mode where it’s management can be access only from the Ethernet side, we need to change this option so that the management traffic can be accessed from Ethernet as well as on the Wireless side (remotely from AP side)

Below is the procedure to gain access to an SM:

  1. We need to enable the option “Public” on SM under Configuration à IP à LAN1 Network Interface Configuration à Network Accessibility.
  2. Click on “Save Changes” and reboot the radio.
