Some customers are deploying multiple generations of PTP products on the same mast and would like to synchronize them together.
PTP 300, PTP 500, PTP 600 and PTP 650 can all be synchronized using PTP sync . The PTP sync boxes are daisy chained in the same way and any device can be used as the cluster master. See the PTP 650 user guide for more information.
Link Planner should be used to configure the parameters, although depending on bandwidths and products, it may not be possible to get the most efficient throughput for all products as not all products support the same burst sizes.
