Requirements to Enable Fiber Y in PTP 800 1+1 Configuration

If you are planning to enable Fiber-Y, make sure you meet the below criteria:

  1. The application software version on the radio must be 800-04-00 or higher version.
  2. The boot software must be BOOT-03-00 or higher version
  3. The recovery software is RECOVERY-04-00 or higher version.

All the above can be found under System --> Software Upgrade as shown below :

Note : You can only run Out of band management when Fiber Y is installed.
