To test the Ethernet packet erros reported by the ODU please complete the following steps
Log into the unit and click Administration, Statistics, Detailed Counters.
Click Reset System Counters at the bottom of the page and wait until the Ethernet Rx Packets counter has reached 1 million (the count will only update when the page is refreshed. If the counter does not increment or increments too slowly, because for example the PTP 600 is newly installed and there is no offered Ethernet traffic, then abandon this procedure and consider using the procedure Test ping packet loss detailed in the user guide.
Check the Ethernet Rx Crc And Align counter.
The test has passed if this is less than 10.
