PTP 550 Beta Software Release 4.1-RC45 is now available

PTP 550 Beta Software Release 4.1-RC45 is now available at: ttps://support.cambiumnetworks.com/files/ptp550/beta

To access the Beta software, all customer need to do is to sign Beta test agreement, then they can download the software. Under the web page, we also posted

  • PTP 550 User Guide
  • PTP 550 Release Notes
  • PTP 550 Quick Setup Guide
  • PTP 550 MIB

As a Beta software, there are few known limitations on certain configurations. Details can be found in release notes.

We are make solid improvement and expect release 4.1 will GA by mid of May.

In the beta section of the support portal, the latest firmware release is RC 40. It was posted 20 April, is that a newer version than RC 45 despite the name?

The RC 45 version seems to have been removed, unless I am missing something.

Hi,

RC-45 was removed from website because of issue with traffic stuck we had found after RC45 was posted.

Today RC-40 is most stable release.

We are working to fix issue with traffic stuck asap and are going to provide new Beta FW in few days.
