How the 2 different channels sync each other? Especially, when they have different latency.

GPS sync has nothing to do really with different radios having different latency or jitter, and has everything to do with frame size and timing (although different frame sizes can have different latency).

See THIS forum post on how GPS sync works. NOTE although it's written for ePMP, the underlying theory applies to all radios that use TDD sync.

My question maybe not clear enough.

What I mean "2 different channels" are the bonding channels in the same PTP550.

Same source and same distance with different latency.

I guess I still don’t understand your question. Are you asking how the PTP550 can use two different sized channel widths and still allow for GPS sync? If yes, then the answer is basically the same, the channel width isn’t really important for GPS sync, the frame ratio and frame size are most important. As long as these match amongst collocated radios, sync will work.

Thanks Eric, very clear answer for GPS sync.
I will test my question once get the equipment, and ask again if I still face any problem.
Thanks again.

Does it have the Dynamic Interference Filtering?

Hi Mike,

PTP 550 does not have dynamic filtering like PTP 450i

Thanks
