60Ghz radio - Suggestions

I was elated to see that Cambium will be developing a 60Ghz radio in the coming year.  Here is my suggestions moving forward.

AP - 60Ghz only radio with a sectorized antenna / beamforming allowing upto 30+ connected clients @ 100+Mbps ea or better. SFP+ a must

SM - 60 GHZ with integraded 450 SM radio with seamless failover.  SFP+ option ...Primary radio 60Ghz, but once below a certian threshold seamlessly switch to 5GHZ until channel conditions or weather conditions are good. Could accomplish the same with a seperate SM...but I'm just asking. ;.>

This setup will allow us to put a 450i or cnMEDUSA on the same tower then / if 60 GHZ fails to serve the customer still hs internet. Especially useful in business type senario.

Can you please provide where you heard/saw this? That is awesome!

Also, LTE in 2.5Ghz to start.

Very Very cool. Thanks silowireless!

Is this still happening? I would love to see a ptmp radio solution from cambium to deliver higher bandwidth to customers by using the 60ghz option.

I too would like to know if Cambium is still working on 60Ghz and/or 2.5 LTE
