What do I do if I need to manage more than 10000 devices?

To support networks greater than 10000 devices, WM supports a tiered scalability model.  This involves using multiple WM servers - each managing a certain region of the overall network.  Each region would need to have 10000 or less devices.

To gain visibility to the whole network two options are available:

  1. Each WM server can discover other WM servers and manage them just like devices.  An aggregated summary will be displayed and users can cross launch the WM client for the other servers.
  2. An additional server can be setup as a Manager of Managers (MoM) server.  This server would only discover the other WM servers (no devices) and provide the same aggregated summaries and managemenet capabilites as the "cross discovered" servers.
