I have wireless manager and othe rmonitoring tools, but was wondering is their any way to graph/see the rf utilization, not bandwidth but actual how much of the PMP sector is utilized at a given point? That is to say not throughput but the actual % of saturated symbols/slots.
Including this in the AP itself also would be beneficial so we could see how saturated thea ctual RF interface is currently.
I was able to put together a spreadsheet for the 320s using the MCS section under Performance Monitor. By combining the throughput of each modulation with the percentage of bytes sent/received on each modulation, I was able to come up with an average throughput value for each SM. Divide the total number of bytes for each SM by that value, and you can compare how much air time each SM has used. It was clunky, but it did allow me to identify customers causing problems.
Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to do this with the Canopy systems, and the 320s have been such a headache that we're replacing them all with 450s.
