Automate CnMaestro on premise backup?

Does anyone know of a way to automate the CnMaestro on premise database backup? Currently we are going in each month and saving the .tar.gz file to an external NAS. Would be nice if we could script this somehow. We are running VMWare on Ubuntu. I appreciate the help and if you need anything from me or just want to tell me this is a silly question please feel free to contact me.

Thanks for the feedback . The scheduled backup feature is available as part of the cnMaestro upcoming release 1.6.3 which is going to be released in June 2018 tentatively.

User can schedule daily or weekly  cnMaestro database backup.
