Hello, we are building out a network using Cambium 650's in exclusively PTP configurations. We need a solution for monitoring this network mainly for outages or utilization issues. We have been using cnMaestro on premisis but it lacks any sort of email or sms alerting. Is there a timetable of when this will be available? Is cnMaestro even the correct product or should we be using Wireless Manager?
Hi PCooper -- do you mean the PMP 450? cnMaestro does not currently support the PTP 650, but we are planning to incorporate it later this year. Basic notifications are targeted for mid-Q3, though we will expand them and make them more feature-rich in Q4. If you can wait for these updates, then the recommendation would be to use cnMaestro.
Yes sorry I do mean PMP450i's in backhaul mode. Is Q3 a firm goal or is this something that could get pushed back again? We need to make a choice for monitoring and would tough it out for a while longer with our less than optimal setup if Q3 is a definate.
Hi PCooper -- Q3 support in cnMaestro On-Premises looks good. This is a feature requested often, and our initial implementation will be targeted. Cloud availability should arrive shortly thereafter.
Any update on this? I see 1.6 is out but do not see anything concrete to make me think this has been included...
