Do epmp, 450 and FSK need management Ip addresses to work with cnMaestro

Hi

We have just installed cnmaestro on-premisis to test.

Do epmp, 450 and FSK need management Ip addresses to work with cnMaestro.

Also, does cnMaestro find SMs (CPE) from interigating the AP?

Thanks

Adam

Devices managed by cnMaestro do need an IP address.  The address does not need to be a public IP.  For cloud, a single point of NAT translation at the edge of your network is sufficient.  But the device does need to have an IP address, gateway and DNS IP configured so that it can initiate communication with cnMaestro.

ePMP and the PMP 450 product lines are supported.  The PMP 100 (FSK) devices cannot yet be onboarded into cnMaestro.  Monitoring of PMP 100 devices is a roadmap item.

For PMP SMs, if the parent AP is already onboarded into cnMaestro, the SMs will inherit the same credentials.  In cnMaestro, go to the onboarding queue, click on Approve All and the SMs will be onboarded as well.  This is referred to as the Zero-touch SM onboarding feature.  ePMP SMs do not yet support this but can be onboarded using all of the other methods (i.e. Cambium ID/onboarding key for cloud, setting the cnMaestro URL for on-premises, etc.)

Hope this helps.
