Client Isolation Overview
Client Isolation is cnPilot AP feature to block the communication between the associated clients on same VLAN & on same AP.
Client Isolation feature doesn't work between clients connected accross AP's.
Use Case
AP should block end-to-end communication between wireless client connected on the same VLAN. Any client-to-client traffic will be a point of concern to network operator due to more and more P2P application proliferation, poorly written apps, chatty broadcast apps and easier proliferation of viruses/worms.
Configuration
Goto “Configure >> WLAN>>Basic” and Enable Client Isolation.
