E1 traffic over ePMP1000 wireless link.

Issue Brief:-
if you have E1 traffic and want to pass through ePMP1000 wireless link.

Problem Root Cause:-
E1/T1 or any High sensitivity traffic requires DSCP class value to be high.

Resolution:-
In order to resolve this create a separate vlan and set the QoS to high priority on radio.Suggest customer to use E1/T1 to IP converter any (no recommendation from Cambium for converter)At the point of the radio, it is just IP traffic.

Is it necessary to configure VLAN and apply Qos rules before the E1/T1 traffic will pass through ?

depends.

if your converters can mark a DSCP flag, you can just use the DSCP to employ QoS.   it can also be done via IP address.   VLAN priority is usually best for converted or encapsulated traffic that is time sensitive.  for future changes, more converters for example, just having them pass the same VLAN will include them into your QoS queue without affecting your first set.

Hi ,

Can you please mention steps to Apply Qos for E1 Trafic. in ePMP force 110.

the EPMP can't natively mark E1 traffic. you'll need to use another means to qualify your traffic.   whatever you are using to get the E1 to Ethernet will need to be used to either get a DSCP tag on the traffic or use both the source and destination IPs, ether type or source and destination macs if its L2 traffic.
