force 200 ethernet goes off and on

Hellow,

 can someone help me, I am trying to configure my new epmp force 200 but when i power it and connnect the LAN cable from the Gigabit data port to my laptop, my ethernet comes on and off and i cannot ping it nor enter it, meanwhile there power led on the

force shows on but the eth will flash amber for some seconds and goes off, I have changed different cables and different laptops but it is still the same, kindly help me.

Hi,

Try to lock the port on your laptop to Gigabit or FE (disable auto negotiation). Also you may try to conect the ePMP unit to a switch instead of your laptop.

Have you tried with an another POE supply ???
