When is it appropriate to set the Management Traffic Rate to MCS 0 ?

The AP’s Management Traffic Rate parameter (located on the AP page Screen Shot 2015-08-29 at 4.32.09 PM.png
Configuration > Radio) is used to adjust the rate at which radio link management information is exchanged. This parameter’s default value is MCS1 to allow the highest speed possible for link management messaging.

This parameter is applicable to very high interference deployment scenarios. With the parameter set to MCS0, management packets will have a higher probability of reaching their intended receiver and allowing for the connection to sustain.
