Anyone know when 30Mhz channel support is coming to 2.4Ghz PMP450? We upgraded our network to 14.2.1 recently which added this support for our 5Ghz gear but not the 2.4. Was this added in a subsequent version? I don't see any reference in the newer release notes. Thanks.
30 MHz channels are supported on 2.4 GHz, but not in FCC regulated areas. Unfortunately, due to emission mask limitations, we cannot allow 30 MHz channels and maintain compliance to out of band limits.
If you are operating outside of the US, and are allowed to use 2.4 GHz spectrum, the n 30 MHz channel selection will be open to you.

We're in Canada. Is it safe to assume that the out of band emission requirements for ISEDC (Industry Canada) are the same as the FCC and this will therefore not be an option in our region?
Yes, the rules for the 2.4 GHz band are the same for FCC and ISEDC for this equipment.
All the more reason we need PMP450i in 2.4 Ghz.
