3ghz PMP450m dropping packets to MGMT IP

Cable is testing good, however pings from he AP’s L3 Gateway are dropping 70%. Could the LPU or CMM5 be causing this? I have no problems reaching other devices in the subnet. Do the lpus require power from the cmm5?

Assuming you’re providing Cambium sync to the AP via the CMM5, then yes, you need to provide power over the ethernet.

Thanks Eric,

I wasnt aware, I turned it off on the cmm5 as the the 3ghz ap is powered by a separate PSU. So to be correct, the cmm5 needs to have poe on, even though the ap is powered by dc to the mains?
