450b with good stats but poor throughput

Hi all just installed a customer using a 450b linked to a 450m and have good signal and such but can only achieve 35-40mbps…

I am seeing -71.8 for AP RX Power…

Link Quality looks decent…

I am seeing high bit errors on the Vertical, must be the issue

How does the link capacity test look if you do “Linktest without Bridging”?

Also how are you measuring the 35-40?

The 35-40mbps was measured by link test bridging with MIR and then speedtest.net and they were the same.

I will try that and report back

I usually use the Linktest without the MIR to gauge AP capacity before I dig in too deep. Your chains are pretty close, but if you’re seeing errors it might not hurt to align it a bit and bring those closer together.

I will try without MIR and see, dont think its a capacity issue, other subs are doing fine. With BER errors im wondering if the nNLOS is the issue. Going to try moving antenna a bit higher. Thank you.

So I tried link test without the MIR and I get mixed results, 55-75 DL, so same as with MIR… I tried a few of the other clients and they are consistent when using MIR… I have one client that has worse stats then the client in question and have their QOS set to 50 and its that when doing link test with MIR… any insight?

Is the SM a 450b MidGain or HighGain?

It is a 450b high gain
