4600c dropping TX power despite AFC allowing full power

Looking into a throughput issue for a customer I’m finding a 4600c PTP link that the AP has changed it’s TX power without any AFC changes being logged. I’ve looked through the log on the radio and full (36dbm) has been allowed at each renewal on the frequency in use. Also, you can see that the configured TX power is not the 1dbm being operated at.

If this were an AFC change, wouldn’t something be logged on the radio or in cnMaestro? Has anyone else seen similar? I’m running 5.9.0 on this link

Dropping transmit power to 11dbm and then back to 12dbm resolves the issue, as well.

Maybe update to 5.9.1, there’s a possible fix:

AXG-10856 All Resolved an issue where the Tx Power settings configured through the UI were not
applied correctly.

In this situation, the transmit power magically changed on its own without any logged reason.

I may upgrade to 5.9.1 But there’s another issue that might be present in that version that I need to avoid. I’ll need to test first.

Hello!

5.9.2 should be ready this week. It should resolve known AFC as well.
