5700BH20 link slow to register, many regfails !

I have a new 5700BH20 link and am seeing a problem when we reboot either the master or slave. It takes a long time to register, upto 15mins at times… If we look at the AP eval data, we see a lot of ‘REGFAILS’.

Once the link is up, it is rock solid (100% link test up&down). Only when we startup the link do we see the long delay…

Does anyone have any ideas?

thanks

There is an issue with the 7.3.6 if your bh’s are collocted with other units

Okay,

that could be the problem, the master end of this unit has another
BH20 at the same location… Strange thing is that the other BH20
link does not show this problem and it runs the same sw ver…

Is the a documented fix or workaround anywhere??

I also noticed another difference, this BH20 link has quite a
high latency (when compared to the other BH20 at the same location)…

Ping between the BM20-master and slave are 20-50ms… The other
BH20 link pings around 2-6ms… However the link test shows 100%
efficency on up and down… I thought I’d mention that too, is that
also a 7.3.6 co-location problem?

thanks so much…

Downgrade the software to 7.1.4, or wait for the ver. 8.

What does the spectrum analyzer says?
