So we know that 8.1.5.1 NAT is broken, but how is it working for you running SM’s in bridge mode?
I have it running on one AP (the one I am on) and so far it seems to be OK. No calls and speed and latency seem to be fine.
I came into the forum right know to post the same question. We are looking at the idea of implementing this feature. What is it good for? For what I read it changes the soruce MAC address of the packets to be the MAC of the SM. That will be great for us as we are trying to implement BMUs and if we can filter the same MAC address as the SM it would be a lot easier to collect the MACs from all 1300 subscribers.
We have never used NAT. It’s running OK.
