Does anyone know of any product that would be equivalent to an 8 port surge suppressor?
We had multiple radios that we want to add surge suppression but are wondering if there is a better option than just installing 8 surge suppressors.
Actually Installing 8 separate Surges is a better way to go.
We used to use 4 port Surges but if a radio takes a hit it may just fry one port on the surge, when that happens you have to either replace the entire surge which waste the 3 remaining good ports or put in a separate surge for that one device, which sorta defeats the process of having all the devices in a single surge.
So we said to heck with multi-port surges and we just put in single surges for each device at the top and at the bottom.
