Hello,

I am about to deploy two sectors onto a water tower. The bowl of the water tower is 10ft higher than where the AP's will be mounted. One sector will face North, one sector will face South. With the bowl of the water tower seperating the two AP's do you guys think I need to GPS sync them?

Hi Jordan,

If they are separated by the bowl of the water tower then you may not have to sync them. However syncing is always a good thing to reduce self interference with adjacent sectors or nearby towers in this case. You don’t lose anything by syncing them.

If I use a UGPS for these two access points will they be in sync with anothers towers 900MHz AP's that are synced by a CMM4?
