I seem to be getting a weird issue when using a couple of 450i on version 15.1 with UGPS.

Dotted lines are wired connections into the UGPS.

The following configurations are working as expected through the Aux ports on the 450is

900mhz 450i v14.1.1 (power on) --------- UGPS --------- 900mhz 450i v14.1.1

900mhz 450i v15.1 (power on) --------- UGPS

These configurations are not working

900mhz 450i v15.1 (power on) --------- UGPS --------- 900mhz 450i v15.1

900mhz 450i v14.1.1 (power on) --------- UGPS --------- 900mhz 450i v15.1

900mhz 450i v15.1 (power on) --------- UGPS --------- 900mhz 450i v14.1.1

It shows satelites connected but never receives sync

If you are connecting more than one AP to the UGPS, it's highly recommended to use a separate AC power supply (the 30VDC version) to power the UGPS separate from the radios.

This should correct the issue you're seeing.

We have heard reports of some issues when using two 450i radios connected to the UGPS and taking power from one of them.  Because they work slightly differently than the 450 APs, in certain deployments, results can occur like the ones you're seeing.

Any ideas why it doesnt seem to be an issue in v14.1.1 but as soon as I go to any 15.x.x version it begins to fail?
