Advantage How to Tell

OK if I have an AP that gives me the option of Hardware and Software does this mean that it is advantage?

How can you tell if an SM is Advantage or Non Advantage? Can you upgrade an SM to Advantage if not?

Your Ap sounds like it is advantage. Are your sm P-8’s or P-9’s either way yes, they can be upgraded with the cnut tool

Look at the top of any of the SM's (or AP's) configuration or status pages.

I believe "Advantage Platform" (only) appears in the web configuration banner of advantage models.

Any P9 AP running 7.3.6 will allow sw or hw scheduling.

Advantage AP’s will say advatage on the log in the web page.

Also ONLY advantage AP’s give you the option of 1x/2x.
