were seeing random occurances in our network where the AP will be online powered up no sync problems but ALL SM’s will be idle. Its not specific to Frequency type or sofware version. I’ve seen it happen on 60 degree sectors or 360 cyclones. doesnt seem to make a difference. All thats required to fix it is a simple reboot. Theres nothing in the error log that points to the cause. Has anyone else seen anything like this?
I have only seen that when there is interference. Have you done a spectrum analysis of the area.
i dont believe its interference. they dont re reg. the just all go idle and dont attempt to re asscociate.
I had this with a few of my 5.7 units…seems after upgrade from 8.2 to 8.2.2 seemed to fix it…also had one bad unit…
