AP advantage Bandwidth

Can anyone tell me that what’s the agregate of AP advantage when the bandwith is managed by PRIZM using clasic SM or lite SM ? Normally without PRIZM the agregate is 7Mbps and using advantage SM is 14Mbps.

Lori,

Advanatage 2.4/5.x AP’s can support 14MB aggregate regardless of the type of SM.

Advantage SM: 14 sustained /burst
Standard SM: 7 burst / 14 sustained

I'm sure you meant to type just the opposite. ;)

ayup. good catch

Thank you for your solution but I don’t mean the agregate of AP non managed by PRIZM but managed by PRIZM with BAM.

Lori,

I don't see how the aggregate will change since Prizm is simply shaping what's already there.

The aggregate bandwidth of APs typically isn’t set by Prizm, preferring to apply profiles to individual SMs.

The aggregate bandwidth capability is determined by the hardware.

Prism/BAM simply provides a method for authenticating and managing radios.
