AP and STA firmware change

Hello, my AP features such as firmware 1.4.4.
Not being able to accedre on the radio I have to leave the AP firmware 1.4.4
While on my STA can access and change the firmware.
I tried the 2.0 and 2.0.2 performance is always less than with the firmware 1.4.4.
What do I leave in both the firmware 1.4.4 or exchange only the STA?

Can you provide more details on why the “performance is always less…”? Is this due to interference (either in the Uplink or Downlink), latency, or throughput?

Could you also include the configuration you are running in?
