AP looses all SM's until Reboot? Canopy 7.0.7 & 5.7 GHz?

I recently had an AP loose association with all SM’s without any discernable event. The AP event log noted nothing nor did any of the SM’s. Rebooting caused all of the SM’s to immediately reregister (interference is thus very unlikely).

The AP was recently updated to 7.0.7 and 2 of the 4 SM’s have been updated.

Is anyone else seeing any issues with 7.0.7 or AP’s just dropping registrations until rebooted? It has not happened again in the last 36+ hours.

I had the same thing happen, except on 6.1 with 5.2Ghz. If the Transmit Frame Spreading is Disabled, Enable it. This is if you have multiple clusters in a close area. Seems that was our problem. The CNUT automatically disables this when it updates.

Do your AP’s say ap on the status screen or apas. if they say just ap then you dont have ap keys set up for them causing the sms to fail to register .the next time they go down check one of the sm’s locally it should have an rssi but wont register.to get ap keys check the bam 1.1 or 2.0 user manuals about the keys
