HI just wondering if We are correct on this selection. If We select throughput the SM looks for fastest AP, not best signal. If We select  power level the SM will register with best signal AP..

Hi, 

That is correct. When throughput is selected, the SM will select the AP where it will get the highest bandwidth for its particular deployment. Just want to calrify that its not really about faster AP as the APs usually have the same capability. And you are correct about the best signal option.

Correct.

And FYI The "Optimize for Throughput" default setting uses  receive power, channel bandwidth, and number of users connected to help determine which AP would give the SM the best throughput.
