We have been asked by some users to periodically announce when the next Authorized Canopy Technical Training Classes are to be held (and where). Some folks get the announcement emails, but some do not (and some have complained to us that they didn’t know we were going to be offering classes nearby). :?
We are hesitant to post that information regularly unless it is seen as a benefit to the community. :o
So…
Would y’all be interested in us posting when Motorola will be offering the “Week of Canopy” classes (CPT100, CPT200, CPT300 and CPT400) in North America?

Seems like a good idea. I think that the emails just get lost in the noise of the inbox.
i would like to see more of the training classes all over the US. Seems like we end up having to travel 1000 Miles to get to the closest training class. If there are any located NEAR Ohio, let me know. Thanks!

No doubt that this would serve as a significant public service. I am always amazed when I talk to other WISP’s or exchange thoughts on these types of forums when I mention that Canopy training is in progress in their area and they never had a clue. More people look to these types of forums for information as opposed to reading the “Marketing” info that we are all inundated with.
Authorized Canopy Training is something we are all interested in and at some level NEED to participate in - if we are interested in growing this product and our ability to be successful and gainfully employed.
There should be no shame in a PSA to advise this community of it’s schedule!

Our July and September seminar series are almost next door to Ohio!
Philadelphia (July) is only 568 miles from the Western-most Boarder of Ohio
Schaumburg (September) is only 547 miles from the South-Eastern-most boarder of Ohio...
So we are well under 1000 miles.... :D :D :D
We are please that since Motorola begain contracting with us as their training provider that over half of the U.S. seminars have been presented "on the road" - but we "do" have to hold them in places where we will get enough students/revenues to pay for the:
-hotel meeting room
-food
-shippment of cases
-and (thankfullly) payment for instructors.... :D
So "Y'all come"
