Autoupdate in AP won't enable

Beating my head against a wall trying to figure this out this morning.

I'm remotely VPN'd to a network, trying to get some old junk we acquired semi modernized.

Passive ftp transfer gets me to the point where the fw file is loaded onto the AP.  But it fails to enable autoupdate.  Trying to do it from the APs because many radios don't have management IP's and are set to local only.  We have a lot of work ahead of us on this network, but getting SM's up from crashy 8.14 to at least 11.2 is my first goal.

I feel like I'm missing something stupid obvious.  Log attached.

AP is currently running 11.2.

What sort of thing would stop the enabling of autoupdate?  I've verified SNMP, and I can change the auto-update address remotely via cnut, so it shouldn't that kind of setting.  The AP itself updated fine.  I bet it's a firewall thing somewhere between my pc (windows firewall disabled to be sure) and the site.

Definitely need more coffee either way.

Hi Steven,

Please email me at vivek.gupta@cambiumnetworks.com when you are available so that I can remote in and look into the issue.

Regards,

Vivek Gupta

Will do next week when I try this again.

This was figured out btw.  I wasn't vpn'd into the network that the equipment was on, just their office network which still meant there was a NAT between them and me.
