Backhaul Throughput

Canopy has 10 and 20 Mbps backhauls. The aggregate throughput on a 20Mbps backhaul link is 14 Mbps. Is that 14Mbps full or half duplex? If half duplex, does that mean 7 in each direction?

I’m pretty sure that the purpose of the CMM answers my question, being that it prevents modules from transmitting during another module’s receive cycle via the timing, but is that for Backhauls as well?

Yes, 7 Mbps in each direction, assuming you have set the Downlink Data % on the BH Master to 50%.

Canopy Tech Support is telling me it is full duplex?

it's full duplex but you need to pre-allocate the ratios for upload/download. it't not like a E1 link for example where both ends could do 2mbit (but not both at the same time).
