Is there a way to backup the current configuration (APs, SMs, alerts, etc.) and the data from the prizm server. We need to clean up the OS (windows) and I’d like to format the system and start fresh but would prefer not to have to set up all the elements again.
Items that you want to backup:
1. Your Database. Refer to the DB Documentation for Backup/Restore Procedures. (i.e. For mysql, use mysqldump etc.)
2. Your Configurations
/config/*
3. Your performance data
/modules/performance/data
You should reference the Prizm 2.10 User Guide section titled: "Backing Up the Most Valuable Files"
To restore them, just copy them back to the above locations on the rebuilt machine.
