Bad RF cable from CMU to LPU?

I have been seeing this on my syslog when I'm loosing link.

Is this an indication of a bad RF cable?

It could be a bad IF cable. (The IF cable runs from the modem up the tower to the OutDoor Unit, or from the modem to the indoor RF unit.)

There's really not enough information here to root cause  the problem.

I suggest you call customer support. They'll have lots of questions for you--they'll need to know what product this is (PTP 800 or PTP 810), what kind of link (1+0, 1+1, 1+1 with space diversity, etc.), etc.

It's free, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

I hope this helps!

Thanks Dave!

I did switch out the cable from the CMU to the indoor LPU.

I do have an open ticket with Support now.

THe diagnostic files have been sent in, and I'm waiting for response.

Is there a diagnostic file decoder available?

Unfortunately, there is no "diagnostic file decoder" available.

By the way, the diagnostics file functionality prevents Cambium Networks from having to ask the link owner to provide umpteen screen shots of every device configuration web page.

The diagnostics file functionality saves the link owner time, and it saves Cambium Networks time as well!

If there's a problem, the link owner sends one or two diagnostics files instead of multiple screen shot .jpgs.

I hope this helps!

Dave

Was it finally a cabling problem?
