Is there any API like Location API that uses the beacon ( Bluetooth Low Energy ) ?

I saw a beaconed_aps field in HTTP POST, but its always empty in my tests. Whats it?

Beacon AP's are nothing but neighboring Access points. Which will be displayed only when OCS configurarion is enabled on Access Point. 

OCS can be enabled from  Login to AP --> Navigate To Configure --> Radio

BLE data will be included in a locationing API in our 4.0 firmware release, currently in limited beta, expected to be released in early september.

we are curious to work with you on developing location analytics based on ble. if you don't mind what is the use case we are planning to develop here.

ble radio is supported on e600, e700 and e430.

Yes this is avalaible in the beta release 4.0. Here are some details I have taken from another post:

cnPilot 4.0 image which will be released in next couple of weeks will support BLE. The beta image is available from cambium site to download and try it out https://support.cambiumnetworks.com/files/e410/beta.  Here is more information on the BLE support, 

To enable the BLE scanning radio on the access points. We need to use below CLI.

  1. location-bt-api server <server address:port> (eg http://192.168.0.9:8000)
  2. location-bt-api interval <Time in sec> (range 2-3600 second)

After enable BLE Scanning on AP it will start processing 

  1. Convert the scanned data to a JSON array
  2. Send that data in one single HTTP/HTTPS POST

Hi,

We Treackerwave RTLS based Company(https://trackerwave.com/). We want to intergrate cambiumnetworks Aps to our RTLS platform to receive BLE data from APs for indoor asset tracking.

One our customer using cnPilot e600 and e410, does these models suppoert BLE beacon scanning and what is the SW version required in APs to enable BLE scanning?
