Best firmware for PMP450m

Just polling the group to see what the best firmware for the PMP450m is. Currently have everything at 22.1.1 and 22.1.1(STA) since we have authorization to use the STA spectrum here. Just looking to see if there have been any actual improvements since 22.1.1, especially for Interference mitigation.

The main reason for looking, is that we have a neighboring antenna that causes big problems for us. It is an old Rocket M5, and when it takes a DFS hit, it bumps over to 5740 where our antenna is. The Ubiquiti customers continue to work fine, but the 450M customers all drop to 1x and become unusable. Very frustrating that a comparably much more expensive AP gets absolutely destroyed by such a cheap antenna.

We have no other open channels, it is a densely populated spot. We had looked into putting up a 6Ghz option, but have been denied on all wireless upgrades until further notice. So I am trying to squeeze all the life out of these that I can.

We use 25.0.1 across our network and it seems to work well. As to interference mitigation, IIRC, 450m uplink interference cancellation was introduced in R22.2 and then later on in R24 they removed licensing restrictions, so it’s free to use. If enabled it supposedly helps with mitigating uplink interference at the cost of disabling uplink MU-MIMO benefits (uplink data is sent in SU-MIMO). In our testing we did not find any instances where enabling interference cancellation resulted in better uplink tput. ALSO of note, not sure when they introduced this, but as of newer firmware, you no longer need a special STA build to use 5.9GHz channels.
