Hi all - We had a great turn out and interest in Cambium's solutions - at the BETT 2019 show, at London's awesome Excel center! This was Cambium’s first time at BETT - and our first time speaking at BETT. Great energy and more-than-expected audience interest. It was humbling to see all the creative output on Education apps, Coding for kids, Robots, and the great strides that Virtual reality has made in these last years.

As (humble) infrastructure vendors, who take care of the plumbing, we focused on the importance of good, no nonsense Wi-Fi, the foundation for all that application magic to work! And that message resonated with an audience of school IT managers, admins and system integrators. Our talk at the show was standing room only. The audience interest in our simple message focusing on good solid Wi-Fi as the foundation for all the app magic resonated with the influencers and prospective customers.

Our Takeaway: people love to listen and play with Robots, and try cool classroom applications. But they are (in some cases quietly) suffering from lack of good Wi-Fi! Those apps just don't perform as advertised when the Wi-Fi sucks! Our booth vistors and audience at the talk said they don't like the “ball and chain” vendors tack on selling  mandatory licensing, mandatory support services charges and turning APs into bricks when you don't renew their steep license fees. and not the least - very poor radio performance on the APs.

and here are some photos of the show for those that want a peek to what was happenign on that little Island that wants to "Brexit"...

Full house. Chetan Hebbalae (Senior Director of Product Mangaement) presentingBusy morning at BETT 2019... and busy afternoon too
