I've just did an Elevate process on a brand new Ubiquiti LiteBeam M5 23dbi.
I've uploaded both the *.bin and *.tar.gz file.
I've made the first login in the ePMP device and I changed all the basic setup I needed.
I did a restart and the device is not responding anymore. No ICMP, no HTTP.
I did several test and used also Wireshark. I can see the device in my neighbor list (using Mikrotik router) with the original 192.168.1.20 but I can't log in the device!
double check that exact part number with the supported devices list. I'm not sure litebeams are listed (i could very well be wrong)
in either case, if you've lost the device, perform a TFPT recover per UBNTs directions to recover the device. you can use either an elevate firmware to bring it back or a ubnt version.
If the device is listed, probably a good idea to open a cambium support ticket and include in detail exactly what you did and your actions specifically along with the hardware sku code, elevate version etc. may have discovered an undocumented feature.

What's happened?
When device is elevated it should have backdoor IP as any ePMP device 169.254.1.1/16. Please check that in case you cannot reach the unit over other IP addresses. Backdoor IP rorks only over Ethernet.
