I know there has been some discussion here about this feature.
I’d like to know if it is ment to be adjusted on the SM, the AP or the BH, or all three or any combination of the three.
From the way it sounds, everyone needs to be adjusting it to a higher value than 25. I found my Ciscos timeout at 4 hours, so I would guess any value over 240 would be fine (I read here that some members use 500).
I am looking for any suggestions, comments, and discussion on this setting.
We use 500.
Occasionally an installer will not set it and it seems to make no difference.
Interesting.
Maybe I should switch the settings to 500 on all the units and see if things quiet down?
What exactly are you trying to achieve by increasing this Timeout Value?
