We have an issue with a 450d SM which is getting a lot of errors on the Bridge Control Block.
Getting high counts on FECutoss and also on ErrApFecQSend.
Is anybody able to shed some light on what these numbers mean and how I can rectify it?
Getting connectivity issues with the customer PPPoE constantly dropping and reconnecting and the radio timing out a lot as well.
Thanks
Colin

Hi Colin,
Could you please confirm the software version the radio is running on? also is this the only SM you are facing this issue?
Regards,
Sanjay Kumar.
Hi Sanjay
Just this one CPE is showing issues - all other CPE's on the AP are ok.
We rebooted the radio and since then there have been no issues so perhaps it was a once off.
Can you give some info on what the Bridge statistics represent?
Thanks
colin
Hi Collins,
Please find the below details of the "Bridge Control Blocks"attributes
Attribute |
Meaning |
FEC bin |
This field indicates the number of broadcast packets received by the bridge control block on the Ethernet interface |
FEC bout |
This field indicates the number of broadcast packets sent by the bridge control block on the Ethernet interface |
FEC btoss |
This field indicates the number of broadcast packets tossed out by the bridge control block on the Ethernet interface |
FEC btosscap |
This field indicates the number of broadcast packets tossed out at the Ethernet interface due to MIR cap being exceeded. |
FEC uin |
This field indicates the number of unicast packets received by the bridge control block on the Ethernet interface |
FEC uout |
This field indicates the number of unicast packets sent by the bridge control block on the Ethernet interface |
FEC utoss |
This field indicates the number of unicast packets tossed by the bridge control block on the Ethernet interface |
FEC utosscap |
This field indicates the number of unicast packets tossed out at the Ethernet interface due to MIR cap being exceeded. |

RF utosscap |
This field indicates the number of unicast packets tossed out at the radio interface due to MIR cap being exceeded. |
ErrNI1QSend |
This field indicates that a packet which was sourced from the radio network stack interface 1 (Ethernet interface) could not be sent because the radio bridge queue was full. The packet was tossed out. |
