please check as cambium 550 not having auto(100) option on ethernet interface like pmp 450 has. also share “smart speed” benefit as same not available in user guide.

Hi,

“Smart Speed” feature enables speed regulation based on cabling conditions.
Could you please elaborate for what cases you need 100 Mpbs Auto-neg feature?

I mean not required 1000mbps in auto negotiation mode as less bandwidth needed.

So if auto(100) option available like pmp450, speed will switch between 10 &100mbps only not 1000mbps

Thank you for the clarification.
We will review that option and include it to the ToDo list.
I guess that option can be useful only in case a switch behind PTP550 is not manageable.
Otherwise you can switch it to manual 100Mbps.
