Cambium Networks 6° Integrated + Reflector Dish (25.0dBi)

Hello,  I am new to the link planner and I have a question about using 450 SM with Reflector Dish in 5GHz.

According to the document, SPECIFICATION SHEET: PMP 450 SUBSCRIBER MODULE  / CN PMP 450 SUBSCRIBER MODULE 07222014

the added gain for a reflector dish is 14dBi.

It looks to me that the Link Planner accounts for the reflector gain as 16 dBi for a total gain of 25 dBi.

Which is accurate?

Two more questions:

On the Radio tab of a 450 AP, the Tx Power is listed as Maximum of 19 dBm with (16 dBm H / 16 dBm V).

When calculating the expected signal strength of a multipoint link, should one use the 19 dBm value or the 16 dBm value?

We see about 2-3 dBm discrepency between the reported AP power level and the SM power levels, which power level should we consider as the most accurate?

Hi Brian,

The added gain for a reflector dish at 5 GHz is 16 dBi. The values have been updated in the latest version of the PMP 450 Specification sheet (CN PMP 450 Subscriber Module 11032014), which is available from the Cambium website.
