That should work for 3 miles Line of sight with available frequencies. It is best to run it through the LinkPlanner to verify the equipment needed, frequencys used and any environmental issues that could impact the RF.

It would be best to confirm which model number you have, then input (or match) that model in LINKPlanner to validate your distance. LP will tell you what to expect to a very high degree of accuracy.
