Can not select force110 antennas in 4.2.7

Since upgrading to 4.2.7 i can no longer select force 110 antennas for epmp clients. Also all my clients entered as force 110 are now integrated, or reflector dishes. Did my upgrade goof up my data, or is the force 110 being removed?

Thanks

Hi Ben,

Unfortunately it is a bug. I've uploaded a patch which will work on the Windows version of LINKPlanner. To install the patch:

  • Save the patched file http://linkplanner.cambiumnetworks.com/patches/Windows/4.2.7/epmp.pyc to your Desktop
  • Close LINKPlanner
  • Open the LINKPlanner installation directory in Explorer (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Cambium Networks\LINKPlanner)
  • Navigate to the folder "link_planner\equipment\products"
  • Place the updated epmp.pyc in the "products" folder
    • You may need administrator privilages to do this
  • Start LINKPlanner

The fix will be included in the next release.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Andy

Details of another bug relating to the PMP reports can be found at http://community.cambiumnetworks.com/t5/LINK-Planner/Patch-for-PMP-reports-v4-2-7/m-p/41225

The Mac version of the patch can be found at http://linkplanner.cambiumnetworks.com/patches/Mac/4.2.7/epmp.pyc. To install the patch:

  • Stop LINKPlanner if it is running
  • Open the "Applications" folder in Finder
  • Right-click on "LINKPlanner.app" and click "Show Package Contents"
  • Navigate to the folder "Contents/Resources/lib/python2.7"
  • Unzip "site-packages.zip"
  • Remove the "site-packages.zip" folder (if it is still there) to leave a "site-packages" folder
  • Navigate to "site-packages/link_planner/equipment/products"
  • Overwrite the existing "epmp.pyc" file with the new version

This issue has now been fixed in V4.2.8
