I try to calculate Rx for SM in my Canopy Network. At this moment we are using trial kit for testing. When I read Radio power level from web page of SM module I have -77dBm (distance is 0.97 miles). Then I try to calculate this value from formula tha Rx=Tx+Txagain-Txcablelos-FSL+Rxagain-Rxcablelos.
FSL is 112 dB
Tx=23 dBm
Rxagain=8dBi
Txcableloss and Rxcableloss =0dB
Txagain=7dBi
Resaul that I get from this values is -74 dBm.
This is 3dBm less of the value from SM webpage.
What is a problem with this calculation?
Thanks.
